Customize Mobile Phone
The smartphone you actually want — assembled to your spec, not the marketing team's.
India sells over 150 million smartphones a year, and yet the buyer's only real choice is which colour the marketing committee picked. Everything that matters — processor tier, camera sensor, battery chemistry, RAM, storage, display refresh rate — is bundled into rigid SKUs designed to upsell.
The Customize Mobile Phone platform is a build-your-own smartphone service. The buyer picks a chassis family, then configures the SoC (MediaTek Dimensity, Snapdragon, or Unisoc tiers), the main camera module (Sony IMX vs Samsung ISOCELL), battery capacity (4500–7000 mAh), display (LCD/AMOLED, 60/90/120 Hz), RAM/storage, and back-finish material. We assemble, flash a stock or custom Android build, and ship.
If validated, BIDUA's edge is not the silicon — it's the assembly and trust layer: ISO-certified clean assembly in Noida, on-bench QC video for every unit, 24-month warranty, and a software image free of preloaded bloat. We become the Dell of Indian smartphones.
Phone-makers have spent fifteen years telling Indians what they need in a smartphone. We want to flip the table — let the buyer spec the silicon, the glass, the camera and the price, and then assemble exactly that.
The opportunity, on its own terms.
India became a phone manufacturer, not just a phone buyer.
PLI-scheme investments and 300+ EMS suppliers around Noida and Sriperumbudur mean SoCs, displays and camera modules are now sourced domestically at component scale — small assemblers can finally compete.
Buyer literacy is at an all-time high.
The Indian smartphone buyer in 2026 knows what a Dimensity 7300 is, what UFS 3.1 means, and why an IP68 rating matters. A configurator-led purchase finally has an audience.
Anti-bloatware sentiment is mainstream.
Xiaomi/Realme/Vivo ad-loaded UIs have triggered a real backlash. A clean, near-stock Android build is now a feature people pay for.
Modular repair is a regulatory tailwind.
India's Right to Repair framework (2022, expanded 2024) explicitly favours devices where components are user/serviceable-replaceable — our architecture is built for it from day one.
Sized in three rings.
- Indian smartphone shipments crossed 152M units in 2024 (IDC) — ₹15–35k band is the largest by volume.
- Niche custom-PC market (Chroma, MD Computers, ITDepot) demonstrates that Indian buyers will pay a 12–18% premium to spec hardware themselves.
- Right to Repair Portal (DoCA) listed mobile phones as a priority category in 2024 — modular design becomes a compliance asset.
- Direct-to-consumer brands (Nothing, CMF, iQOO) prove buyers will skip retail margin to get exact spec.
How it works, end to end.
Web configurator
Buyer picks a chassis family (Standard, Pro, Rugged), then drags sliders for SoC, RAM, storage, camera, battery, display and finish. Live price updates with GST inclusive. Razorpay / EMI / corporate-PO checkout.
Sourcing & EMS partnership
BIDUA does not fab — we partner with PLI-scheme contract manufacturers in Noida and Greater Noida for board-level assembly, then do final assembly, flashing and QC in-house.
Assembly & QC
Each unit is hand-assembled in a dust-controlled bench, passed through a 47-point QC checklist, and a 90-second QC video is recorded per IMEI and shared with the buyer via WhatsApp before shipping.
Software layer
Two ROMs offered — Stock Android 14/15 (Pixel-style) or BIDUA OS (LineageOS-derived, no bloat, optional GMS). Quarterly security patches for 4 years committed.
After-sales & repair
Two-year on-site warranty in Delhi-NCR, doorstep pickup elsewhere. Repair pricing published openly — board, display, battery, camera each have a fixed catalogue price (Right to Repair compliant).
Three compounding phases.
Pilot & validation
- Configured device sales (₹15k–₹85k per unit)
- Custom corporate batches (fleet phones for logistics, hospitality)
- Extended warranty AMC (₹999–₹2,999 / yr)
- Configurator licensing to retailers
Scale
- Higher-tier Pro and Rugged chassis sales
- BIDUA OS subscription for enterprise (MDM-ready)
- Trade-in & refurb pipeline
- Spare-parts catalogue (right-to-repair revenue)
Platform
- White-label assembly for regional brands
- B2G fleet contracts (police, transport, health workers)
- Used-device certified-refurb resale
- Accessories ecosystem (cases, chargers, repair kits)
Patient cadence, deliberate steps.

What can go wrong — and how we plan for it.
Component sourcing volatility
Mitigation: Multi-vendor tie-ups (3+ EMS partners), 60-day buffer stock on hot SoCs, dynamic configurator pricing tied to component MRP.
Warranty cost blowout on custom builds
Mitigation: Strict 47-point QC, IMEI-linked video record, capped repair-cost catalogue, on-site warranty only after 18-month track record.
BIS / WPC certification per variant
Mitigation: Chassis-level (not config-level) certification strategy — internal modules pre-certified, configurations stay within a certified envelope.
Brand trust against Xiaomi / Samsung
Mitigation: Lean into transparency: live QC, published BOM, public repair prices. Position as the 'honest phone' rather than competing on hype.
After-sales scale in Tier-2 cities
Mitigation: Doorstep-pickup model via Blue Dart/Delhivery reverse logistics; in-house repair only in Delhi-NCR initially; refund-or-replace SLA backed by component buffer.

finwault.comQuestions partners and investors actually ask.
Are you actually manufacturing in India?
Board-level assembly happens at PLI-scheme EMS partners in Noida/Greater Noida; final assembly, QC and flashing happens in our own facility. Final-stage 'Made in India' applies.
What's the price range?
Expected ₹15,000 at the entry chassis with basic SoC and storage, up to ₹85,000 for a fully-specced Pro build with flagship camera and 16/512 configuration. Configurator shows GST-inclusive prices live.
What about software updates?
Four years of quarterly security patches committed at launch. Two Android version upgrades for Pro and Rugged chassis.
Can I repair it myself?
Yes. Battery, display, back-cover and SIM tray are user-replaceable. Board and camera require service-centre intervention. Spare parts are available at published catalogue prices.
What carriers and bands are supported?
All Indian 4G / 5G bands across Jio, Airtel, Vi and BSNL. Dual nano-SIM + eSIM.
Is there a warranty?
24-month standard warranty, extendable up to 48 months via AMC. On-site service in Delhi-NCR; doorstep pickup elsewhere.
Can businesses order in bulk?
Yes — corporate-PO checkout, GST invoice, optional MDM pre-provisioning. Minimum batch size 50 units.
Is this just a re-badged Chinese phone?
No. Components are sourced at module level (SoC, camera, display) from named vendors disclosed on the spec sheet. Final BOM is published per build.
