Text Content to Video Converter

Every blog post wants to be a video. Most editors don't have the time, the team, or the rendering budget.

Overview

Every business in India that writes a blog, newsletter, product description or LinkedIn post is sitting on raw video fuel — and most of it never becomes video. The reason is brutally practical: turning a 1,200-word article into a polished 60-second reel takes a scriptwriter, a voice artist, a video editor, stock footage and roughly four hours of human work.

BIDUA's Text-to-Video Converter aims to compress that four-hour pipeline into 60 seconds and one click. Paste a URL or article, choose a language and aspect ratio, and the system writes a video script, generates voice-over in an Indian-English or regional voice, pulls matched B-roll, animates the text, adds captions, and exports an Instagram Reel, YouTube Short and 16:9 master — ready to post.

Status: idea. The underlying components — script LLMs, neural TTS, stock B-roll APIs and FFmpeg rendering — are all commodity. What does not exist yet is an India-first product that gets the language, accents, music sensibilities and creator-economy formats right. Market numbers below are forward scenarios, not committed pipeline.

Text travels at the speed of reading. Video travels at the speed of platforms — and right now, every Indian platform is paying creators by the second of watch time. The bottleneck is no longer creativity; it is production.

Why now

The opportunity, on its own terms.

01

Reels and Shorts are the new home page.

Indian SMBs, edtech creators and D2C brands are being told by Meta and YouTube that vertical short video is non-negotiable — but their content team is still a single intern with Canva.

02

Voice AI just crossed the Indian-accent gap.

Indic TTS from AI4Bharat, ElevenLabs and Sarvam has reached a quality level where Hindi-English code-switched narration sounds human enough for marketing video.

03

The unit economics finally work.

A single rendered minute of video used to cost ₹40–₹60 in compute. With newer LLMs, batched TTS and CPU-rendered FFmpeg pipelines, that's now under ₹6 per minute — making a ₹499/month plan profitable.

04

Bharat languages are unblocked.

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and Kannada now have production-grade neural voices. That triples the addressable creator base versus an English-only product.

Subject to retention and Bharat-language traction
  • Edtech creators: India has 100k+ part-time YouTube educators who need 3–5 videos a week.
  • D2C brands: every Shopify-India brand needs daily UGC-style Reels for performance ads.
  • Newsroom & publishers: regional newspapers want video versions of every article for WhatsApp distribution.
  • Internal corporate use: training, compliance and onboarding videos for HR teams across India's 10M MSMEs.

Business model

How it works, end to end.

01

Freemium SaaS

Free tier with watermarked exports and 3 videos / month. Paid plans from ₹499 (creator), ₹1,999 (business) to ₹9,999 (agency) per month for higher render minutes, brand kits and team seats.

02

API for publishers

Per-video API pricing for newsrooms and large publishers that need to auto-convert every article. ₹15–₹35 per rendered minute on volume contracts.

03

Vertical templates

Pre-built styles for stock market explainers, recipe reels, edtech micro-lessons, real-estate walkthroughs. Sold as add-on packs.

04

BYO-voice & avatar marketplace

Creators upload a 60-second voice sample and unlock a cloned narrator. Avatar presenters (talking head) available as a premium add-on.

Competitive landscape

Who else is here — and why we're different.

01 Pictory / InVideo AI / Lumen5 Global text-to-video: English-first, weak Indian voices, expensive in INR. InVideo is India-founded but moving upmarket and global.
02 Canva Magic Adjacent generalist: Strong text-to-image, weaker on full text-to-video pipelines and Indian-language voice.
03 Bhashini-based startups Emerging Indian: Government-funded Bhashini stack is improving fast but lacks consumer UX polish.
What BIDUA does differently
  • India-first voice library — code-switched Hindi-English narration that doesn't sound like a call-centre IVR.
  • Native Reels / Shorts / WhatsApp Status formats — not just generic 16:9 video.
  • Sub-₹500 entry price calibrated for Indian creators, not a converted US dollar plan.
  • Built on BIDUA Hosting infrastructure for sub-second render queue times and predictable margins.

Risks & mitigation

What can go wrong — and how we plan for it.

Risk 1

OpenAI or Google ship a free version

Mitigation: Compete on India-specific voices, vertical templates, distribution to non-English creators — areas hyperscalers under-invest in.

Risk 2

Rendering costs spike

Mitigation: Dual-cloud strategy across BIDUA Hosting + spot instances. Hold cost-per-minute roadmap as KPI.

Risk 3

Copyright on auto-pulled B-roll

Mitigation: Tier-1 stock licences (Pexels, Pixabay, Storyblocks). All paid plans get licensed-only library by default.

Risk 4

Hallucinated scripts misrepresent the source article

Mitigation: Side-by-side editor that pins script to source paragraphs. Editorial review mode for newsrooms.

Risk 5

Idea-stage retention assumptions

Mitigation: Kill criteria — if Day-30 retention is below 25% in first 6 months of launch, pivot to API-only model.

Common questions

Questions partners and investors actually ask.

How long does one video take to render?

Target is under 60 seconds for a 60-second 9:16 video on the standard plan. Higher-quality 4K renders can take 2–4 minutes.

Which Indian languages are supported?

MVP launches with Hindi and English. Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Odia and Assamese follow over the first 18 months.

Can I use my own voice?

Yes — paid plans allow voice cloning from a 60-second clean sample. The cloned voice can narrate any future video.

Will the videos look unique or templated?

Style packs and brand kits ensure every customer's output looks consistent to their brand, not to ours. Stock footage is matched per script, not reused.

How is this different from InVideo?

InVideo is broad and global; we are India-first on voice, formats and pricing. Our floor plan is ₹499 — InVideo's equivalent runs 3–4x higher in INR.

Do I need to credit BIDUA on exported videos?

Free-tier exports carry a watermark. All paid plans export clean — no BIDUA branding, full commercial rights.

Is the script editable before render?

Yes. The AI-generated script appears in a side-by-side editor where you can rewrite any sentence, swap visuals and adjust timings before clicking render.

Can publishers integrate this via API?

Yes — the API tier (target launch 2028) supports webhook-based article-to-video pipelines for newsrooms and content businesses.
